Here is how God has led us thus far:
1992 Rev. Paul Lee who was Youth Pastor at the time also pastored English Ministry (EM) at the Korean United Methodist Church at Metro-Detroit (Troy KUMC). Rev. Daniel Chang evolved EM & Teachers worship to support Sunday School.
1998 "TroyHope" was named officially with Rev. Jin Oh as the pastor who served as the Youth & EM pastor. Later Pastor Jin Oh pastored TroyHope only and Pastor David Ryu was the Youth Pastor.
Late 2002 - 2007 Rev. David Ryu became TroyHope Ministry pastor and pastored for 5 years.
2008 - June 2016 Rev. David Kim became TroyHope Ministry pastor and pastored for 8 years. Rev. Kim was appointed as a DS in Michigan Conference.
July 1, 2016 - June 2023 Rev. Anna Moon was appointed by the Detroit Annual Conference as the TroyHope pastor of Korean UMC at Metro-Detroit.
April 2024 - Present Rev. David Ryu transferred into the Global Methodist Church and became TroyHope pastor of the Korean Methodist Church of Metro-Detroit.
