PD Blog | DECember 2025
On Sunday September the 28th, Roy Hwang, Destiny Kelley and I left for Mongolia to join Deacon JYP and Elder Tim Song for our 2025 Mongolia Mission.
This trip was my second time visiting Mongolia and once again God showed us why He wanted us back. First, the Mongolian Methodist Churches have expressed their deep appreciation for TroyHope because when we come, their Methodist Churches feel the love of our members and without a doubt, we are considered family.
Our team also led a fun VBS program in collaboration with the pastors in Mongolia. Through a skit and many crafts, the children were enthusiastic to participate along side us.
We visited several Methodist churches where our team was split into smaller teams for house visits.
To top it all off, one of the larger Methodist churches hosted a youth gathering after school and we learned how much they wanted to grow and evangelize to other teenagers.
I know I have been away on College Campus visits, Mongolia and Thailand but I could not have done it without all your prayers and support. Just this past weekend I was able to go back to my hometown Toronto and speak at a family retreat that was recently formed by three smaller congregations merging together. Encounter Covenant Church has done the unthinkable by submitting to the Lord’s will to bring three congregations together. There is something special to learn as God’s people overcoming barriers to be His body together.
